Inelegable for abuse of political power and improper use of the media in the 2022 election, Bolsonaro asked his supporters in an act on Paulista Avenue that “give me 50% of the House and Senate that I change the fate of Brazil, I need not be president”.
During his speech, the former Mandanician emphasized that anyone who leads Congress is able to guide the executive, whoever is in office, and make crucial decisions such as choice of people to hold high public office and what themes will be discussed by the legislature.
“If they give me this, it doesn’t matter where you are, here or in, who takes over the lead will send more than the President. With this majority elected our president of the National Congress. Most of the Senate and House committees. In the Sabbaths we decided who will continue,” said Bolsonaro.
“I say more, I don’t even need to be a president. Valdemar keeping me president of Honor of the PL, we will do it for you. […] I appeal to the three powers of the Republic: they feel and talk, pacify Brazil. I don’t want to believe it is revenge on one person or another. We want a haughty congress, a respected, executive STF working for the well-being of the people. ”
The allies of the former president of the Republic gather on Sunday (29) in an act named “Freedom NOW!”.
