This Saturday (28), the team led by Bernardinho beat Italy 3-2 (25/22, 21/25, 33/31, 17/25 and 15/13) in Chicago, United States, and consolidated in the lead of the competition with six wins in seven games.
Honorato and Lukas Bergmann collaborate with the first victory of Brazilians about the Italians in the League of Nations since 2021 with 14 points respectively. By the Italians, the highest scorer was Roman with 24.
Brazil started this Saturday’s confrontation with the current unconcentrated world champions.

The Brazilians managed to start the Tie-Break very well and soon opened 8-4. It seemed that the victory would be a matter of time, but the Italians reacted, touched the score and tied 12-12. The national team managed to stay calm and an Italian withdrawal error closed 15-13.
