Bratislava-England is the U21 European champion for the second time in a row. The juniors from the motherland of football prevailed 3-2 after extra time in the final in Bratislava against Germany. Jonathan Rowe from Olympique Marseille, who had recently substituted, scored the decisive goal (92nd). For England it is the fourth U21 European Championship title. The “Young Lions” had previously triumphed in 1982, 1984 and most recently in 2023.
