The travel route of Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisingers (NEOS) with the final goal of Israel and the Palestinian areas on Monday and Tuesday led her through Nicosia in Cyprus and Cairo in Egypt. The section of Amman in Jordan to Jerusalem and Ramallah is covered by the land path. The flight room over Israel is also open for civil aviation after the ongoing ceasefire. On the one hand, despite the very short -term start of the trip and the volatile security situation – the accompanying journalists were not yet clear at the Vienna Airport – at the beginning of the trip. On the other hand, Meinl-Reisinger wanted to deliberately charge diplomatic luggage before the Iran War erupted for the first time.
