At the act on Paulista Avenue this Sunday, 29, former President of the Republic Jair Bolsonaro (PL) paraphrased Donald Trump’s slogan and shouted “Make Brasil Great Again”. The term alludes to the “Make America Great Again” (Maga) movement, which raised Trump to the second term of the US presidency in January this year.
The speech occurred during a speech by Federal Deputy Gustavo Gayer (PL-GO) who, at some point, addressed alleged “eyes attentive” from outside Brazil, who would be following the demonstration.
Gayer continued: “Then, president using his example of Popcorn and Ice Cream Sellers …”, began the deputy, before having the microphone taken from his hands by Bolsonaro who, in a joke, said: “I Don’t Speak English.” Gayer took the microphone back and added: “The Book is on the table.”

Then the deputy spoke in English, saying that the country would be living under a dictatorship of the judiciary. After finishing, Bolsonaro took the microphone from his hands again and concluded: “Make Brasil Great Again.”
Once again, Brazilian flags have come together with those of the United States and Israel in the demonstration. In one of the tracks near the sound car, it was read “Bolsotrump” and “Trumponaro”.
In another, with an Eduardo Bolsonaro caricature, the words were: “Edu, we support him” and “Donald Trump, Thank You Very Much.”

The statements support the attempt of the federal deputy licensed to obtain sanctions on the Minister of STF Alexandre de Moraes by US authorities.
