The president of the Registry and Notary Workers Union says that there is a lack of human resources in the sector and points to the finger to the last governments of the country for the lack of measures to mitigate failures in services.

“At national level about 40% of the staff, 266 registration conservatives and 1981 registration officers were left. There was no recruitments for over 20 years, so it was a sector that had no rejuvenation and in the last contest opened in 2023 was very small, not even collected the retirements that occurred in the meantime.”
He added that “People who work in here are unable and feel enormous when they enter the morning and have a welcome commission.
