It stinks. You can’t just wash it out of your hand. It’s slimy and maybe even green. This was supposed to be your rainwater, toli desired water for watering. “It is still a treasure, the barrel has just made your own,” says Jana Bucharová in the ear podcast.

You can find a podcast here:

You will return to the cottage after a few hot days. Or you just ignore the barrel in the garden for some time. You are approaching and the odor will almost beat you. The water is cloudy and certainly does not smell, maybe it attacked some leaves and it definitely breaks something in it. Hold up before you start pumping the whole barrel. “It is a diluted fertilizer,” says Jana Bucharová, an expert on garden themes of the Recipe, in the podcast. And so it would be bare not to get rid of it.

Liquid gold

If you have never produced a little time, then green water can really surprise you. The fermented leach from different weeds, most often from nettles, is the same. Just in dark green. It smells completely incredible and after maturing it has to dilute quite a lot. Usually you can also make it for one go only bucket or smaller keg.

Water to the roots

For successful watering with “spoiled” water, it is good to keep in mind. Although it is pretty green, it does not belong to the leaves. “Water it to the roots, or even better into the mulch,” recommends Jana Bucharová. This is true for all fertilizers, and even this mistake produced by Jicha is no exception.
