These potato dumplings are a world championship. You will only make them in the season

This is a popular dinner addition, usually served to roast with sauce. However, it is worth moving away from the classics and preparing blueberry dumplings in a sweet version. You don’t need eggs to prepare them – you will make them 3 ingredients. Check a simple recipe and application proposals.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of flour potatoes and salt;
  • 120 g of potato flour;
  • 100 g berries.

Preparation:

To make blueberry potato dumplings, at the beginning cook the potatoes in salted water – They must get soft. When they are still warm, squeeze them through Prague.

In the next step, prepare a blueberry mousse: First wash and drain the berries, then blend them to a smooth mass. Then mix it with previously prepared potatoes.

When the purple mass cools down, add potato flour to it and start kneading the soft dough. Then form a thin roller about 2 cm thick and cut the dumplings from it. Place the potato dumplings on a tray previously sprinkled with flour.

Finally, go to the boiling of blueberry potato dumplings. To do this, boil water and add a little salt to it. Put noodles in parties in it. When they sail to the surface, after 30 seconds remove them with a slotted spoon.

Blueberry dumplings are most often eaten with sour cream. You can replace it with Greek yogurt or mascarpone cheese. It is worth sweetening with sugar or honey.

A great proposition for a summer dessert is to serve these fluffy dumplings with whipped cream, which we sprinkle with fresh berries and decorate with mint leaves.

Blueberry dumplings should also be served with crushed cottage cheese with honey and vanilla. Instead, we can use vanilla cheese.

Many people eat these noodles with golden breadcrumbs with butter and sugar. Some add a pinch of cinnamon or cardamom to it.

We also recommend trying berry potato dumplings with fruit mousse. Berry, blueberries, raspberries or currants will be perfect. Nothing prevents you from pouring white or dark chocolate.
