In June, they conflicted the bill, and the entrepreneur continued to criticize it in recent days. Musk accuses Republicans of abandoning efforts to put the United States at the forefront of the electric vehicle revolution and clean energy.
The South African also defended the formation of a new political party called “America Party”, if the project is approved. Trump also stated that the Department of Government Effectiveness (Doge), led by Musk until the end of May, could focus on the subsidies of Tesla and Spacex founder. “I don’t know. We’ll have to analyze,” Trump told reporters at the White House when asked he would consider deporting Musk. “We may have to impose doge on Elon. Do you know what doge is? Trump reinforced his threats, convinced that Musk criticizes what he calls his “grand and beautiful law” because he is upset that he has reversed favorable measures to electric vehicles. “He’s very upset about the situation, but he knows one thing, he can lose much more, I tell you that. Elon may lose much more,” he said.
On Monday night, Trump made similar comments on his Social Truth platform. “Without subsidies, Elon would probably have to close the doors and return to South Africa,” he wrote.
