The former president () canceled, on Tuesday (1), his participation in PL event for health reasons.
In a message to parliamentarians, he alleged crises of sobs and vomiting that prevent him from speaking. Bolsonaro was expected at a PL60+ launch event in the Federal District, in the House of Representatives.
“The agony continues. This Wednesday I will not go to Pl. Crisis of sobs and vomiting keep me from talking,” said the former president.
The day before, he had already canceled a trip to the party’s headquarters, where he would receive parliamentarians by medical requirement.
In the message to parliamentarians, the former president said that his schedules are maintained in Balneário Camboriú (SC) and Florianópolis (SC), on July 4 and 5.
Bolsonaro passed in April for his sixth and longest abdominal surgery since his stab she suffered in the 2018 election campaign. The procedure lasted 12 hours.
He still has episodes of abdominal malaise and crises of frequent sobs, as happened during an interview with a Bolsonarist radio last week.
The former president worsened the health condition after participating in the last Sunday (29) of demonstration on Paulista Avenue. The act was more emptied than the previous ones.
According to the CEBRAP political debate monitor, this Sunday’s public was 12,400 people. In April, in another act, 44.9 thousand protesters were counted. Already in February last year, in the same place, the monitor estimated in the demonstration in defense of Bolsonaro.
While part of the former president’s surroundings pointed out the lack of loyalty of allies who missed the act, other nearby figures criticized the organization of the demonstration, which would have been made to ward off center-right politicians who orbit the pockets.
