The Israeli army announced tonight that it has stopped one that was launched by the short time after the sirens of anti -aircraft alarm in the center of Jerusalem and in many other parts of the country.
In his Laconian announcement, the army said the rocket was intercepted.
The guerrillas, who control much of Yemen, have fired dozens of missiles and unmanned aircraft against Israel after the war broke out in the Gaza Strip. Almost all rockets were intercepted. On May 4, however, one of them fell, for the first time, near Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport.
In response, Israel hit the rebels’ targets in Yemen, mainly in ports and at the capital of the capital Sanaa.
