It’s a shame that it looks like they are threatened with extinction in the wild. Unlike motorcycles, convertibles are unfortunately a rather uneconomical way of escaping self-diagnosed claustrophobia: in the sinners S-segment, every second vehicle is offered as a roadster, but the selection is quite manageable for normal mortals. The cheapest option is actually the Mini Cooper, at 35,000 euros in entry price – apart from the Fiat 500, which actually only has a large sliding roof.
