Former Mayor of the Prague district of Řeporyje Pavel Novotny entered the Pankrac on Wednesday. He serves a three -month sentence for breaking the condition he received for hooliganism or dangerous persecution. The politician is known for many controversial statements and actions. Novotny was given a conditional sentence with a postponement for 30 months for hooliganism, incitement to the crime and dangerous persecution of entrepreneur Mark Vít. The court subsequently extended the trial period and, in addition, ordered it to undergo a social training program.
The ex -mayor has repeatedly committed offenses during the condition, and therefore the court changed the conditional sentence on the motion of a prison to a three -month prison. Novotny first appealed against the judgment, but then withdrew the appeal. Before joining prison, he decided to end up as a mayor and suspended his membership in par.
