American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs on Wednesday acknowledged the New York judicial jury as guilty of two of the five points of prostitution, trading in sex and blackmail. TASR reports this based on AP and Reuters reports and Sky News.
The unanimous verdict of the judicial jury came after three days of decision -making. According to him, Diddy is guilty of two cases of transport for the purpose of performing prostitution and innocent in the remaining three more serious cases of sex and extortion trafficking. According to AP, rapper is only a ten -year sentence instead of lifetime. The judgment with the amount of Diddy’s sentence will be filed later.
Combsa was convicted of the federal crime of transporting people, including his girlfriends and paid male sex workers, after the United States to participate in sexual parties.
The jury composed of eight men and four women free in cases of blackmail and sex trafficking. According to them, rapper reportedly used his money, power and physical strength to manipulate his partners and abuse them for sex with various men under the influence of drugs. Combs’s defense argued that women went to such parties voluntarily.
After announcing the decision, Diddy thanked the judicial jury, smiled, prayed and hugged his lawyer Teny Geragos. Judge ARUN SUBRANIAN, after the decision, was considering whether Combsa temporarily released on bail. He has been in custody since the arrest in September 2024. The judge adjusted the hearing until the decision to release.
The Prosecutor’s Office claimed that he had been abusing his power for two decades and forcing two of his partners to participate in all -day sexual parties under the influence of drugs with paid male sex workers. According to the indictment, Diddy allegedly watched them, masturbated with them, and occasionally filmed them.
