“Israel has agreed to the necessary conditions to finalize a 60 -day ceasefire, during which we will work with all parties to end the war,” said Truth Social after meeting with US and Israeli officials in Washington.
At the same time, Hamas demanded to accept the “final” proposal by clarifying that it would be transferred through Qatar and Egypt, countries mediated by indirect negotiations between the Palestinian Islamist Movement and the Israeli Prime Minister.
“I hope, for the good of the Middle East, Hamas will accept this agreement because the situation will not improve, it will get worse,” the US president added, typing these last five words in uppercase, as is customary for emphasis.
So far Hamas has not reacted.
