There was a time when Commodore was one of the very big companies in the computer world. With the C-64, the company delivered the defining device of the home computer era, with the Amiga series you could get many inspires again. But success should be of a comparatively short duration, as early as 1994 the company slipped into bankruptcy. Bad marketing, a changing market, but also not understandable excursions into the PC world caused the end.
