The new biographical series “Chespirito: Unintentionally wanting“, which tells part of the Mexican actor’s life Roberto Gómez Bolañosresponsible for giving life to the classic Chaves and Chapolin Colorado characters, is displayed at the Max streaming service. In a press conference accompanied by CNN, the actor Juan Lecandawho gives life to Quico’s actor, commented on the absence of involvement of the original star.
The interpreter actors of Dona Florinda and Quico had to have the name changed in the series, as they were the only ones in the original cast still alive that did not have involvement with production. Carlos Villagrán, Quico’s classic actor, left the show in 1978 for Ball’s disagreements.
Juan Lecanda, thus, interprets man in the work nicknamed Marcos Barragán. He said that, in fact, he had no contact with the actor and that his research for the character was based on star interviews and videos.

“She told me experiences and let me practice with her,” Paola gave. “I already knew Edgar, he is already my friend. He helped me observe photos and watch chapters to recreate this great character,” said Eugenio.
The cast and the team also stressed that the children of Bolaños acted in the series, always being in the set of filming and helping the artists present to incorporate the character, especially Paulina Gómez Fernández and Roberto Gómez Fernández, the most involved in the construction of “Chespirito”.
Throughout eight episodes, which will be released weekly, “Chespirito” will show how Bolaños turned his interest in humor into a career that crossed generations and borders. Professional and family weaknesses and dramas are not left out.
