Arabica and robust quotes reach lower values ​​in months, while frosting in producing regions should affect 2026 crop, according to Cepea

The (Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics) registered a drop exceeding 20% ​​in coffee quotes in Brazil during June. The reduction affected both Arabica and robust coffee, which reached the lowest values ​​in months.

Data released on Wednesday (2.Jul.2025) show the sharp decline in prices, while frosting in important producing regions should affect the crop that will be harvested in 2026.

From June 18 to 30, Arabica’s indicator operated below $ 2,000 per bag. On the last day of the month, it closed at R $ 1,834.36, accumulating a retraction of 21.5% in the period.

The robust indicator ended the month at $ 1,105.07 per bag on June 30. The accumulated drop in the month reached 20.75%.

The frosts that have reached important coffee regions have not affected the current crop, but will impact future production. The producers of the affected areas also evaluate the extent of damage to crops.
