The National Motorpor Group, which specializes in the automotive sector, will reinforce its presence in the district of Setúbal as early as July, by assuming the representation of several brands in the cities of Almada, Montijo and Palmela.
This operation results from the integration of SGS CAR activities, maintaining their facilities and teams, but now managing a wide portfolio of car insignia. Motorporpor thus assumes the representation of the brands Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Spindle, Jeep, Isuzu, Kia, Kgm, Mitsubishi, Mazda and Maxus – so far sold by SGS Car – as well as the MG brand in Palmela, and Opel in Almada.
The company was already representative of the Renault and Dacia brands in the region, now significantly reinforcing its presence in the Setubalense market.
For Manuel Coutinho, CEO of the Motorpor Group, this integration “represents a firm step in the company’s sustained growth, focusing on continuing the service and valuing the work done over the years in the Setúbal district”.
The official also stresses the intention of “being closer to the people and companies of this region, offering a wider range of mobility solutions, with the excellence service that characterizes the MotorPor group”.
With this expansion, the operation of Motorpor in Setúbal district will feature several new vehicles showrooms, spaces dedicated to used vehicles, workshops, after sales units and Rent-A-Car services. Integration will also bring the reinforcement of local teams and customer response capacity.
Currently with a presence in 11 municipalities in the country, the Motorpor group employs about 400 employees and represents a total of 18 new vehicles, maintaining a growth strategy based on multi -brand, proximity and national coverage.
