Government and Greens agree on a new regulation for social media accounts by politicians

Vienna-The government parties ÖVP, SPÖ and NEOS, together with the Greens, have agreed on a new regulation of the social media accounts of politicians. The four parties announced this in a joint broadcast on Thursday. In the future, for example, employees in ministerial offices will be active at accounts of government members. A retroactive validity that had meanwhile caused criticism because ongoing procedures would be affected by the table.
