Ukrainian President Volodymyr Greenable on Thursday stated that “doubts” on the US’s attitude towards Europe emphasize the need to strengthen the cooperation of European countries through the European Union and NATO. He also hopes that he will be able to talk to US President Donald Trump on Friday or the following days. He wants to talk to him about the US decision to limit the supply of air defense shots and further ammunition to Ukraine for concerns about the lack of their own supplies. “Now that there are doubts about the continuing US support against Europe, it is even more important to strengthen our cooperation and coordination through the EU, NATO and also in our direct relationships,” The Ukrainian President in Aarhus, Denmark, announced at a meeting with the leaders of Denmark and the EU.
The President of the European Commission Ursula von Der Leyen had previously stated that The US decision to stop supplies sends a signal to European countries to intensify support for Ukraine and strengthen their defense capacities.
