Leaders of do on Wednesday (2) a virtual meeting with influencers to discuss strategies for disseminating content in defense of government projects of income tax exemption for those who have income of up to R $ 5,000 and taxation of super rich.
The meeting coincides with the moment the petista government decided to intensify the “rich against the poor” speech after the decree over the (Congress operation tax).
The virtual meeting was opened to all interested parties and was attended by just over 200 people. Among the participants were Jilmar Tatto, Federal Deputy and Secretary of Communication of the PT, and Marco Aurélio Carvalho, coordinator of the prerogatives, group of lawyers linked to the government.
In their lines, petistas and allies celebrated what they see as a success of the “BBB Taxation” campaign, which argues that billionaires, bets and banks pay more taxes to be possible to pay the exemption from the income tax of those who earn up to $ 5,000. The assessment is that the mobilization has had great repercussion and reach beyond petist circles.
The videos are being prepared by producer Urissanê, from publicist Otávio Antunes, who was the marketer of several petist campaigns, such as Fernando Haddad’s presidential in 2018. Antunes also attended the meeting, as well as the senator and president of PT, Humberto Costa, the president of the Perseu Abramo Foundation, Paulo Okamotto, and the creator of the profile ” Teresa Freitas.
Participants said they think content has direct language, with mobilizing potential, and provides easily reproducible arguments for militancy on social networks and other discussion spaces.

Antunes, in turn, said he was sought by the party with demand for the best way to present income reform.
According to him, the idea of the campaign is to convey the idea of the exemption of IR as “historical justice, real justice.” For this argument, it would not be a tax increase, but a “increase of justice.”
The publicist also said that after this first debate on justice, the campaign should promote more objective comparisons, such as the cost of Bolsa Familia and the cost of tax exemption for the thousand largest farmers in the country – according to it, the value would be the same, about $ 158 billion.
Okamotto, in turn, presented complementary initiatives for petistas to defend the Lula administration and its projects.
He said the PT should create a relationship center to talk to influencers and hear project suggestions, a “curated team” to analyze what has been shared by petistas on social networks and can be used by the acronym.
He also said he intends to organize content distribution channels with the help of parliamentarians and petist leaders.
The President of the Perseu Abramo Foundation also presented the idea of forming a pro-government content production consortium, which would be attended by PT, CUT and other union movement institutions, partner agencies, among others.
According to Okamotto, the idea is to provide “more arguments for our companions to discuss with the population” and create a “unified national articulation to defend the Lula government and democracy.”
