Ronnie Coleman: Family confirms that bodybuilder “is conscious”

One of the biggest names in bodybuilding history, Ronnie Coleman is still hospitalized in the United States because of a blood infection. This Thursday (3), the former athlete’s family updated his health.

According to the official pronouncement, Ronnie Coleman is still in a delicate state, but is already aware. The legend of bodybuilding has been hospitalized since last Sunday (29).

The family also thanked the messages of affection and reinforced the request for good energies in the statement (See full at the end of this report).

Meet Ronnie Coleman

Ronnie Coleman is one of the biggest names in bodybuilding history and was also a police officer in Arlington, Texas for 11 years. He began to compete at 24 in 1990 in amateur championships.

She has a degree in Accounting from Grambling State University and, in 1992, began to play professional competitions, and the first title was won three years later, in 1995, when she was 29 years old.

The debut at Mr. Olympia was in 1997, when he ended in 9th place. The following year, he dominated the category until he was dethroned in 2006 by Jay Cutler. In 2007, he finished in 4th place and decided to retire from the stage. Throughout his career, he earned the nickname “The King”.

Ronnie beat Mr. Olympia in the Open category, the most traditional of the tournament, from 1998 to 2005, for eight consecutive years, record that it was once only from the American Lee Haney in the same category.
