The wind from the cold front and storms from Austria arrived at the extreme west of Slovakia, reaching 50 to 70 kilometers per hour in gusts. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMI) informs about this on the social network. Suddenly the air cools down by more than ten degrees Celsius within a few tens of minutes.

“In the coming hours, this wind, even with unique showers and storms, will also bring cooling in other locations of western Slovakia,” Meteorologists write. To the rest of the area during the day, the cooling will not arrive, where according to SHMI you have to wait until the normal evening cooling of the air. “But the front will bring the wind to almost the entire territory of Slovakia during the night, and there will also be rainfall and storms,” They delivered from SHMI.
