The 14 -year -old who killed his parents and 3 -year -old brother was inspired by a horror game to commit the crimes, police said. The game portrays a couple of siblings in an incestuous relationship that murders their parents, there are characters who were cited by the boy and their 15 -year -old girlfriend, as if they were his parents. In addition to the incest, the game shows murders and scenes of cannibalism. Both young people were seized. The report was unable to contact the defense of adolescents. The murders took place on Saturday (21) in Itaperuna, no. The teenager waited for his family to sleep. He shot his parents and the child using a revolver from his father. Then he hid the corpses in a cistern.

The Itaperuna Police Station, which investigates the case, says the teenagers referred to victims using characters names in the game. “They didn’t play this game, but they were fans and had access to the internet channels. It’s a game with very violent content,” he says. According to the delegate, some posts of teenagers in their profiles already made references to violent content of the game. “We analyze the profiles where you can see this exhibition of violent content, including the knowledge of a movie that speaks of murders and deaths.”
The conversations also reveal that the distance between them, imposed by their parents, bothered the couple and this was one of the motivations for homicides. The other, according to the delegate, was the greed of the teenager, who intended to keep the money from selling a car and a family property. The investigation pointed out that the girl had active participation. According to the delegate, she suggested that the teenager showed that he was “a man” and did something to see her personally, which was interpreted by the police as an emotional blackmail. The two met six years ago – when they were about 8 years old – through online games and, over time, dated virtually. The relationship was more intense about a year ago. The girl lives in Água Boa, Mato Grosso, 1.8 thousand kilometers from Itaperuna.
According to the delegate, parents banned contact between them. “There was an ultimatum about the end of the relationship, if they were not in person, given by the teenager,” he said. “This would have led the boy to try to get money at any cost,” says the delegate. The investigation revealed that the young woman accompanied the execution of the couple and the child over the internet. After the teenager shot her father, she encouraged him to kill her mother. The couple even made countdown before he fired.
After the murders, the two began to discuss what they were going to do with the bodies and even played on the situation. According to the delegate, they spoke of choking the corpses, burning the bodies or giving to the pigs. The idea of playing in the cistern was the boy. According to the investigation, the two continued to talk after the crimes. In one of the messages the young woman says, “I never thought anyone would do it for me.” The teenager suggested that the girl also killed her mother and even considered traveling the good water with her father’s revolver for it.
According to the delegate of Itaperuna, the case is clarified. “The investigation has already ended. We have the authorship, the couple of teenagers, the skills and the materiality of the crimes (as two minors are infringing acts). He will answer for planned and executed and she, having participated in the planning and execution in a virtual way. They will respond for murders and concealment of the corpse,” he says. The teenager has been hospitalized since the 19th at the São Fidélis Socio-Education Center in Rio. The girl was seized in Mato Grosso on the night of Monday, 30, and is available to the courts.
