'The tendency is this': Gladson confirms support for Bittar doubled for the Senate in 2026

During interview with ContilNet In the transmission of Expoacre 2025, on Wednesday (2), Governor Gladson Cameli again defended the double with Senator Marcio Bittar in the dispute for the Federal Senate in the 2026 elections.

Gladson called Bittar as “ally” and said that he will surely be the candidate for the Senate on the governing plate in the next election. However, the governor considered that, before officializing any political movement, he must complete the goals planned for his term, which ends in April 2026, when he should leave office.

“It is no use saying anything now if, when I arrived December, at Christmas, I get my planning and see that I did not fulfill what I promised. But the tendency is (to support Bittar’s candidacy),” he said.

Gladson also took the opportunity to reaffirm his support for Deputy Governor Mailza Assis, who should run for reelection and take over the government with his departure next year.
