The president of the USA, Donald Trumpand his counterpart from Russia, Vladimir Putinhave announced that this Thursday afternoon they will maintain a Telephone conversation.
“Today I will talk to President Trump,” announced the Kremlin head during an intervention in the ‘Solid Ideas for New Times’ forum.
“I will talk to President Putin in Russia at 10.00 am (Washington time, 16.00 Spanish time). Thank you!”, The American has published in his social truth network.
The last phone call between both leaders took place on June 14, coinciding with Trump’s 79th birthday.
The new contact comes after the White House has suspended some arms shipments to Ukraine, a decision justified by the growing concerns for the decrease in American ammunition. Shipping pause will mainly affect kyiv’s ability to defend against air strikes and hit goals with precision artillery. The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense said Wednesday that Washington has not “officially notified” this measure.
