The Railway Company Slovakia (ZSSK) warns passengers that due to high temperatures, failures on ZSSK vehicles as well as railway infrastructure, which is under the administration of the Railways of the Slovak Republic (ŽSR), may occur. These disorders can cause delays or other complications in rail transport. TASR informed the ZSSK Communication Department.
“We ask passengers to prepare for possible travel restrictions and get to the road with sufficient fluids, food or medicines they use regularly, even in the case of shorter roads”Added ZSSK.
At the same time, it recommends passengers to monitor up -to -date information about the operation of trains on ZSSK or through ZSSK channels when planning their travels.
