This Friday, 4, Senator Alan Rick (União Brasil-AC) participated in a series of agendas in Porto Acre, celebrating actions and deliveries that strengthen urban and rural infrastructure and directly benefit residents of the municipality. Among the highlights are the delivery of an 110 horsepower tractor, acquired with an investment of R $ 230,000 for the parliamentarian to the National Program for Modernization and Support for Agricultural Production (Promaq), and the announcement of an amendment of R $ 400 thousand to fund the Balsa Crossing over the urban center to Vila Caquetá and making the service 100% free for the population.
“Today is a very special day here in Porto Acre, in Vila do V. We are guaranteeing appeal to make the ferry crossing free and already delivering the first tractor of a series of new equipment that is coming to Porto Acre. There are another R $ 500 thousand in equipment: there will be 8 more microtractors, 1 corn planter, 3 cassava plastens and 3 distributors of limestone. For the city to raise the most necessary to strengthen agriculture in the region and make the acquisitions. It is $ 4.4 million in amendments just for this production support. By ensuring equipment like this, we help the little one to produce more and put food on the table of families, ”said Alan Rick.
The delivery of the tractor should benefit about 5,000 producers from the region, serving communities of the Tocantins, Porto Alonso, Bandeirantes and Caquetá projects. The president of the Leonardo Ramal Residents Association, Maria Antônia – Negona – celebrated the achievement.
“We, small producers, have no resources for this type of equipment. With this tractor, what we do on the hoe, the machine is doing and our production grows. We are 380 producers in the extension, we cultivate rice, coffee, banana, vegetables and many other foods. This will help many families, city hall and people, because if they are not the producer, the people of the city have no food.”
In the connectivity area, the Small Prince School, in Vila do V, received a high-speed internet point, made possible by the senator’s nomination to the Wi-Fi Brazil program.
The agenda also had the inauguration of the José Diogenes de Souza taxi square, built with amendment intended by former federal deputy Mara Rocha, and the José Guilherme dos Santos Bus Station.
The Maxius Mayor (PP) thanked the partnership with the senator. “Municipality like ours, who lives from FPM, can only meet the needs of the community with the support of our parliamentarians. Senator Alan Rick has always been a partner of Porto Acre, since he was a federal deputy. We have many actions being performed with resources he allocated here in the municipality and we are grateful for it,” he said.
The program also included the signing of the service order for the paving of José de Souza Mota Street, the presentation of the new facilities of the Municipal Secretariat of Agriculture and the launch of the Summer Program with the most production.
Also participating in the solemnities were the mayor, Lenilson Baquer (PP); the former federal deputy Mara Rocha; former vice governor Major Rocha; the former mayor Bené Damasceno; Councilors Luan Luz (MDB), Professor Elizel (PP) and Dhony Gomes (PL); the councilwoman and pastor Évila (PP); and the former mayor of Sena Madureira, Jairo Cassiano (União Brasil).
