Another strange death in Russia: Vice President of Russian Company of Oleadutos was found dead on the street where he lived

In recent years, several business men and high Russian employees have died in bizarre circumstances

The vice president of the Russian transneft oil company, Andrei Badalov, was found dead this Friday morning on the street where he lived in Moscow, the local media reported.

“Badalov’s body was found on the street, under the windows of his house,” said a source cited by the Tass news agency.

The body was found near Rublovskoye Avenue, around the Russian capital.

The source cited by TASS has admitted the possibility of suicide, although the investigation is still running, according to the Spanish news agency Efe.

Badalov, 62, was vice president of Transneft since 2021 as head of digital transformation, information technology and production automation at the state company responsible for the country’s pipeline network.

Transneft, founded in 1993, has the largest pipeline system in the world, with a network of almost 50,000 kilometers.

The chairman of the company’s board of directors is Alexandr Novak, vice-prime minister of Russia since 2020.

In recent years, several business men and high Russian employees have died in bizarre circumstances, most of whom were considered suicides after falling from the apartments where they lived or workplaces.

In April 2022, former Gazprombunk vice president Vladislav Avaev was found dead along with his wife and daughter.

Days later, the bodies of the Novatek executive, Sergey Protasia, the wife and daughter were found in Spain.

That same year, Ravil Maganov, president of the oil company Lukoil, died after falling from one of the floors of the hospital where he was being treated.
