The president of the Legislative Assembly of, Rodrigo Bacellar (), used the period as an interim at the head of the state government to dismiss a disaffection, Washington Reis (), from the State Transportation Secretariat.
The resignation was signed by him in an extra edition of the Official Gazette on Thursday (3).
Bacellar is interimly occupying the position of governor because of the trip of the holder, (), who went to Portugal to participate in the Lisbon Forum, known as “Gilmarpalooza”.
Castro will be outside the country from Thursday until Sunday (6).
On social network, like Bacellar, he said he received the news of the dismissal through the press and “with surprise.”
“I cannot help claiming that my dismissal was only because I do not declare support to those who do not have preparation or ability to govern the state of Rio de Janeiro.”
In another excerpt from the message, he said he has held the position in the last two and a half years “with the confidence of the governor -elect.”
“I follow with my head held high, with a quiet conscience and the pride of those who have always worked seriously.”
Bacellar had beaten mouth this week at the assembly with a brother of the dismissed secretary. On Monday (30), the president of the Legislature and the state deputy Rosenverg Reis (MDB) discussed the secretary’s call to explain the subway fare. Rosenverg went against it and said he would guide his brother not to attend.
“The time is over for you to think your brother sends in the state of Rio. Here the hole is lower,” said Bacellar.
Rio de Janeiro has been without deputy governor since the resignation of Thiago Pampolha, who took a seat at the State Court of Auditors in May.
Washington Reis, who is an ally of (PL) family, is ineligible for convicting environmental crime. He tries to reverse the decision and also gives signs that he can sign an alliance with the mayor of Rio de Janeiro (PSD), which articulates candidacy for the government.
