Exclusive: Hugo Motta talks to CNN about IOF’s Moraes decision

In an interview exclusively to the correspondent of CNN Américo Martins, the mayor, Hugo Motta (Republicans-PB), spoke about the decision of the Supreme Court Minister Alexandre de Moraes that suspended the acts of the Government and the National Congress on the IOF.

Hugo said that there are no “winners or overdue”, that Moraes’s decision was positive. Now he says he expects to “build, through dialogue, exits to solve the government’s fiscal problem.” He also celebrated the fact that Moraes’s decision prevented the increase in IOF.
