Via Verde Shopping receives this weekend a special program in honor of the 51 years of the Military Fire Department of the State of Acre (CBMAC). On July 5 and 6, from 10am to 10pm, the public will be able to closely check out an interactive exposure with institutional materials of the corporation, and the presence of military personnel who work on various rescue and prevention fronts.

The action aims to promote the visibility of the activities performed by CBMAC and further bring society closer to the institution’s values, which acts directly on the protection of life, the environment and public safety throughout the state.
During the exhibition, equipment will be presented used in operations such as fire fighting, urban and forest rescues, prehospital care, diving activities, among others. On Saturday (6), the public will also be attended by search and rescue dogs, as well as the participation of soldiers, sergeants, officers and students in formation, totaling about 13 military personnel per day in a relay system.
According to Major Santiago, the exhibition goes beyond the simple demonstration of equipment. “It is a valuable opportunity to bring society closer to the essential and dedicated labor of firefighters. Being present in a public space of great circulation strengthens our mission and reaffirms our commitment to the safety and well-being of the whole community,” says the officer.
Programming also includes cultural attractions. On Sunday (6), at 16h, the Music Band of the Military College of Firefighters will perform in the food court, reinforcing the mood of celebration and integration with the community. Already on Saturday, from 16h, one of the corporation’s fire fighting trucks will be on display in the mall’s courtyard, providing an experience even closer to the public.

The action is an opportunity for children, youth and adults to know closely the work done by firefighters and strengthen the culture of prevention and respect for the services provided by the institution.
