The race track, which receives the category for the 59th time, is 5.8 kilometers long and 18 curves. The race will have 52 laps duration.
In 2024, Mercedes George Russell noted the pole position, and then Mercedes pilot and currently at Ferrari, won the race.
With nine triumphs in Silverstone, Hamilton can be considered “the king of the circuit”. The pilot is the one that won the most at the race track, with four wins of Alain Prost – the second largest winner of the category in the circuit.
Bortoleto expectation for the stage
After gaining the best career result, Gabriel Bortoleto, sauber pilot, revealed expectations for the Silverstone stage. The Brazilian praised the eighth place won in the previous race and was confident for the test in Britain.
“Marking my first points last weekend was amazing – a result by which the team and I have worked so much since the beginning of the season. But this is just the beginning. Now the focus turns to Silverstone and ending this double round the same way we started,” he began.
Ahead, Bortoleto preached humility and highlighted the updates to be made in the team’s car during the British stage.
“We need to keep our heads down, keep working and continue to evolve. We are also bringing some new pieces, with which I look forward to familiarize. Everything comes down to the small steps, this is how we grew up and stayed in the fight in the intermediate platoon,” said Gabriel.
Young promise at Red Bull
Amid the output rumors of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, heading for Mercedes, the four -time world champion team announced 17 -year -old Arvid Lindblad as a replacement for Yuki Tsunoda in Free Training 1.
Through a young promise for the team, the British will debut for the Austrian team. Currently, Lindblad is part of the Red Bull pilot academy and disputes Formula 2 for the Campos Racing team.
The young rider occupies the sixth place of the championship, with two wins won and a pole position.
Teams reveal special paintings for the stage
Leader of the championship, British McLaren announced the return of the iconic chrome painting to the stage. The team’s design marked the late 1990s time until half of the 2010s.
Also British Williams made subtle changes in the colors of the team’s boots and added red and white details to the painting. The team revealed that the change is to honor the colors of the country’s flag.
Racing Bulls innovated by partnering with British designer Olaolu Slawn and launching a painting inspired by urban art. With this, the car will feature black details on the white, predominant in the team’s bolide.
