Israel announces an “active defense policy” after the war with Iran
The Israeli Minister of Defense, Israel Katz, said this Friday that Israel will seek an “active defense policy” after his twelve -day war with Iran, which ended on June 24, to prevent the Islamic Republic from reconstructing its military capabilities.
“The State of Israel has all the intention of carrying out an active defense policy against Iran and eliminating threats,” Katz said in a message to the troops shared this Friday by his office. The minister highlighted the damages to the Iranian nuclear program and the Balistic missile production system, which he referred to as the two great threats for Israel, during the campaign against Iran.
“The Mission of Israel’s Defense Forces is now to prepare a white and blue plan [los colores de la bandera israelí] To ensure that Iran cannot threaten Israel again, ”said Katz, pointing out in particular the air superiority of the Army about Tehran.
Already last Friday, Katz instructed the Army to prepare “an execution plan against Iran” that includes maintaining Israel’s aerial superiority and preventing the nuclear advance and missile production of the Islamic Republic, as he announced himself in his account of social network X.
According to official data, the war between the two left a balance of at least 28 dead in Israel and 935 in Iran, the majority civilians, and concluded with a high fire mediated by the United States that entered into force last Tuesday, June 24. (EFE)
