Petista participated in the Mercosur summit and was also with former Argentine president Cristina Kirchner
The President (PT) landed early Thursday night (3.Jul.2025), around 6:30 pm, in Rio. The petista was in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he participated in the Mercosur summit. Sum 117 dias Outside Brazil since the beginning of its 3rd term, in January 2023.
Lula arrived in Argentina on Wednesday (2.Jul) and returned on Thursday (3.Jul). Instead of disembarking in Brasilia, he flew straight to Rio. The capital of Rio de Janeiro will host the BRICS summit on July 6 and 7.
