In 1966, the United States, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, France and China not only the only countries that had nuclear weapons, but also had sufficient foresight to recognize the dangers of nuclear spread. Despite their numerous and in -depth political differences, they came to a consensus to stop the further spread of “nuclear weapons or other core explosive bodies”.
