Judges “Secrets” They will work at the 1st State Court against criminal factions in Santa Catarina. The new unit, launched this week, will feature unprecedented technology in the country to distort the face and voice of the five judges who will act in the hearings. The sector will judge the processes anonymously.
The unit will operate in the Capital District, a region that concentrates 30.1% of factions related to the state.
Composed of five magistrates and magistrates and 35 servers, the Court begins the activities with a collection of 2,087 proceedings – 1,841 in progress and 246 suspended.
Judgments will be collegiate and all acts, since will occur anonymously to ensure safety for professionals.
According to Judge Luiz Antônio Zanini Provrolli, head of the General Court of Justice (CGJ), the unit will focus on four vectors: efficiency, speed, legal certainty and protection of justice operators.

The Court will have jurisdiction throughout the Santa Catarina territory, except for cases of the Jury Court, domestic violence and the special criminal court.
To increase security, the TJSC has adopted an anonymity system: developed in partnership with Microsoft, the resource distorts the face and voice of the magistrates during the audiences, preventing gender identification or personal characteristics.
