The president of the United States, will sign this Friday (4) his tax megapacote that, after being approved by the House of Representatives on Thursday, will arrive at his office in time that the ratification coincides with the country’s Independence Day (July 4). White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt told the press that the signature ceremony will take place at 5 pm (local time).

The fiscal and budget plan promoted by the US President received the first approval of the House of Representatives on May 22 and, after the Senate approval on July 1 with the vice president’s tiebreaker, Jd Vance, returned to the first home today and obtained the final authorization. The bill received republican caveats for the impact that planned cuts can have on medical plans such as Medicaid and in their own electoral districts.

In 2026, there will be elections of presidential term, in which the entire House of Representatives and a third of the Senate will be renewed, and the position of the congressmen regarding the bill may have great weight in this claim. Trump had been insisting days that he wanted to ratify him on July 4th and had threatened with republicans who opposed.

The republican bench could have a maximum of three votes against the proposal, which would not prevent approval, and in the end only two of its members voted against: Thomas Massie, Kentucky representative, and Brian Fitzpatrick, Pennsylvania.
