At least 20 injured were required by a bus accident on the A19 motorway in the Meklenburg – Predomia in the northeast of Germany. The state of one of them is critical, the police said on Friday. TASR informs according to DPA.
A critically injured passenger remained, after flixbus’s bus overturned, the entangled two hours until he managed to deliver it from the wreck using a special technique. The police added that the scope and seriousness of the injuries of other passengers were determined.
The bus first came off the road to the right and then rolled over in the field. The cause of the accident was not immediately known. There were 53 passengers on board and two drivers and headed from Copenhagen, Denmark to Vienna, Austria. According to Bild, the injured is a bus passenger, both drivers escaped without injuries.
The accident occurred at approximately 2.40 h CEST at the Röbel Traffic Node in the direction of the German capital Berlin, approximately 150 kilometers north of the capital. Emergency components, including rescuers, firefighters and rescue helicopters, intervened on the spot, cites DPA. Members of the motorway police from nearby stations were also involved.
