Blackle at the Chéquia. Fault will be of the 37 degrees

Severe blackout in the Chéquia: Prague and other cities without electricity. Public transport and crowds ceased to work.

Novo blackout in Europe, this time centered on a country: the Chéquia. Public transport and crowds were paralyzed in the capital Prague and in other regions of the country, such as USTÍ, Liberec and Hradec Králové.

The lack of electricity will have affected millions of people. There were also people retained in the elevators. Prague airport has escaped, just like hospitals in general.

The widespread failure of light was confirmed by Prime Minister Petr Fiala, who mentioned that “some areas” of the Church were without light. “We are investigating the causes and solve the problem,” he added.

It is not known origin. ČEPS, the only company responsible for supplying electricity to the checos, announced a failure in a supply line.

The channel highlights a possible origin: a temperature. The Czech hydrometeorological institute warned a few days ago that temperatures could reach 37 degrees in some parts of the country – which could lead to overload on the power grid.

In the late afternoon, the energy was being recovered in the country. All substations were already operational.

However, tens of thousands of customers were still without power, the newspaper announced, while čEPS declared a state of emergency.

Energy companies were gradually restoring energy supply, but at the same time they needed to continue to regulate the energy flow so that the system is not overloaded. Energy companies expected the total restoration of energy supply during the afternoon or at most at night.

It was almost five hours of a widespread blackout.
