The Club World Cup has shown that everything has a limit, including cheering for Brazilian teams. Fluminense has just qualified for the semifinal of the competition by beating Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal, and overcoming many fans with elbow pain in the networks.

The climate of Brazilian union seen in the group stage ended among netizens. After the Rio club reached the quarterfinals, after seeing the countrymen Botafogo and Flamengo were eliminated, many rival fans preferred the Arabs to win.

The Rio de Janeiro team even opened the scoring with Matheus Martinelli. But Marcos Leonardo’s goal, former Santos player and top scorer of the competition, helped create hopes of those who cheered against Tricolor Carioca.

The tension of the match made the Argentine striker Germán Cano, a hero of the classification over Inter Milan, to become the villain of the match, by losing a goal to the Moroccan Bono.

But all drying was not enough. Fluminense returned in front of the score and no longer left, with the goal of Hercules.

See more how social networks reacted another Brazilian triumph in the Club World Cup, with the classification of Fluminense to the semifinals.
