Acre’s secretary of health, Pedro Pascoal confirmed on Saturday (5) that the injuries and injuries suffered by the newborn Aurora Maria Oliveira Mesquita were caused by the hot water used while bathing at the Hospital of Women and Sister Maria Inete, in Cruzeiro do Sul, Acre interior.
The moment caused 2nd and 3rd degrees burns in the baby. The statement is based on the daily report passed on by the teams of the Emergency Care Unit (ICU) of João XXIII Hospital, in Belo Horizonte (MG), where the small is hospitalized.

According to the secretary, the characteristics of the evolution of the case defines that the burns really occurred, which had already been informed by the parents of the baby, who registered a police report against the Acre Hospital.
