A woman was the victim of aggression and threat of death on Friday afternoon (4), in the sunset neighborhood, in Epitaciolândia, Acre. The perpetrator is the former partner of the victim, who was already forbidden to approach her by court decision.
According to information from the Military Police, the case occurred around 4:30 pm and was reported by residents who heard requests for relief from the house. The woman reported that she was on her way to her mother’s residence when she was intercepted by her former partner, who forced her to accompany him to the old house where they lived together.

At the scene, the suspect locked the house and started a series of physical and verbal aggressions. The victim was hit with punches and tapas, had his cell phone broken when he was hit in the head and the damaged motorcycle with knife blows. Then the man tried to blow her with a butcher knife. The woman managed to escape jumping a window and sought shelter in the house of a neighbor, where she was located by the PM in shock.
During searches in the property, authorized by the owner, the police found the knife used in an attempted aggression and a 22 -caliber revolver of Italian manufacturing. The weapon, according to the victim, had been taken by her to the suspect’s sister’s sister’s house, in front of previous threats.
The victim was taken to the Epitaciolândia Civil Police Station, along with the seized objects. The case was registered as a attempted femicide based on the Maria da Penha Law (Law No. 11.340/2006).
The attacker managed to escape before the arrival of the police and is still sought.
