Minister of Culture Martina Šimkovičová (SNS nominee) expresses his condolences to the whole family and close to the deceased chairman of the Council of Slovak Television and Radio (TVR) Jozef Krošlák. She described him as a co -worker and a friend. On the social network, the Minister said she was trying to process the report of his death. Therefore, he will not participate in the Cyril-Methodian celebrations at Devín Castle.
“With a deep sorrow, I received a report on the unexpected death of our collaborator and a friend of Jozef Krošlák today. These are situations where it is difficult to find words. On Thursday I saw him at the East festival. And this morning I learned a message that I have been trying to process since then. For this reason, I will not participate in today’s celebrations of Saints Cyril and Methodius in Devin, where I was, of course, planning to go, ” wrote Šimkovičová.
The Minister sends a lot of strength to the family and loved ones to process what happened. “Today has proven again that we do not know the day or hour. Honor his memory,” added. Jozef Krošlák suddenly died on Saturday morning at the age of 68. He was chairman of the STVR Council from April 1, 2025. In the past he was a spokesman for Prime Minister Vladimir Meciar.
