The first half of the game between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, on Saturday (5), for the quarterfinals of the Club World Cup in Atlanta, ended with a worrying scene: midfielder Musiala, the German team, suffered a serious injury.
In additions of the early stage, he was seriously injured by sharing the ball with goalkeeper Donnarumma. There is still no information on the severity of the problem, but the image of the musiala leg indicates that the lesion is serious.
Donnarumma, visibly shaken, moved away from the scene without knowing how to react. Players from both teams immediately called Bayern’s medical team.
With a minute to go to the end of the additions, the English referee Anthony Taylor chose to end the first half. The game is tied 0-0.
Musiala played the Bayern Munich debut at the World Cup against Auckland City, but had to leave the field with a muscle nuisance. As he was returning from injury, he was spared from the games against Boca Juniors and Benfica, still by the group stage.
