With the decision to get rid of Avon’s international operation already defined, Natura () is now expecting an “interesting proposal” to advance in the process. There is urgency, however, to sell the arm of the operation responsible for Avon outside Latin America.
The Natura. “When there is an interesting proposal, it can walk,” Natura Vice President Josie Romero told Infomoney.
In its investor Day last Monday (30), the company announced that it has dedicated a team to execute the process. This small internal team acts in conjunction with a group of financial consultants to advance the theme.

According to Romero, what exists now is a strategic decision to make the separation. “From now on, at any time it can happen. There is urgency, there is no doubt that. When you make the decision and disclose it to the market, you want it to happen,” he says.
This week Natura realized and started operating for the negotiation code on B3. The company concludes this year what it calls wave 2, of integration between Avon and Natura operations, including important Latin America markets such as Mexico and Argentina.
