Many holidaymakers are not surprised and looking at the price tags in local markets or supermarkets are falling a sled.
It is no exception that for tasty and fragrant fruits there will only pay a fraction of what in our country. Fruits and vegetables abroad are not only more affordable, but often tastier. Ripened in the sun, freshly torn and full of scents. The opposite of what we will bring from the Slovak supermarket many times.
But the difference in prices is not a coincidence. Slovakia is largely imported by fruits and vegetables from abroad, so the cost of transportation, storage or margins of intermediaries is also reflected in the resulting price.
