Torrential rainfall caused floods on the Guadalupe River, Texas in the United States, at dawn on Friday, 4. The river rose about 8 meters in just 45 minutes. The water dragged houses and cars, creating a scenario of destruction.
Kerr County floods are estimated to have left more than 50 dead, including 15 children. Eight other people died in neighboring cities.



Authorities said more than 850 people have been rescued in the last 36 hours, with the help of helicopters.

Almost 30 girls, who participated in Camp Mystic, a Christian summer camp on the banks of a river in Kerr County, where most of the bodies were found, they are missing.
The hills along the Guadalupe River traditionally house centuries -old youth camps and campsites. The region is especially popular during the July 4 holiday, which makes it even more difficult to know the total number of missing.
