This year, a total of 3181 fires broke out in Turkey, 761 burned from 26 June. This means that 25 percent of all fires since the beginning of the year occurred in the last ten days. Of the over 3,000 fires, 1351 occurred in forest areas. There were 27 aircraft, 105 helicopters, 6,000 ground technology and 25,000 people. Tens of thousands of people were evacuated in parts of the country affected by fires.
